What to expect on race day:
Prepare for an over the top, amazingly different, intensely wacky stunt run, where you will be tested, wiped out, pumped up, wet…all for a good cause!
Wear comfortable clothes (think workout clothes) or costumes, but please avoid rivets or metal on clothing, keep your keys out of your pockets, and leave cleats at home. You don’t want to be “that guy” damaging any of the stunts, right?
Be sure to get to the start line on time and ready to make the run of your life!
What is included with registration:
Your registration includes a race bib, T-shirt, race medal, free bag check, and a ThrillSeeker swag bag.
What is not included with registration:
Love, money, happiness, a BRAND NEW CAR, and basically anything you can think of other than what’s in the packet. Just remember to bring money for merchandise and food during the event.
What do I get for finishing:
All ThrillSeeker 5K Stunt Run participants will receive the best race medal you’ve ever seen. We guarantee you will never want to let this medal out of your sight!
Kid's Stunt Run:
The Kid's Race is open to anyone ages 6-12 years old, and features 4-5 of our ultra-premium obstacles including the Zip N Slide and Jumbo Flyer. The Kid's Stunt Run does not include obstacles that feature water greater than 18 inches high. One (1) parent or guardian may accompany each participant in the Kid's Stunt Run. Participants must be 12 years or older to participate in the full ThrillSeeker 5K Stunt Run.
Creating a team:
Teams are a great way to get your friends and family involved in the race with you! You can dress up in costumes and have as many people as you want, but the minimum number of team members is 4!
You will get to choose a team name, preferred start time for the race, and be eligible for a team discount rate just for meeting the 4 or more team member requirement. Be sure to have your friends and family sign up using your team name!
After registering for the race, you will be able to log in to your team account to update details. You may add notes, team members, and check the size of your team!
*Please note: start times are on a first come, first served basis. Team start times are preferred, not guaranteed… So get your team registered ASAP!
We will send you an email several days before the race to notify you of packet pickup time/location AND your race start time. Please bring your photo ID with you.
You may opt for race day packet pickup for a fee of $5, but time will be limited and we cannot guarantee you'll be able to start at your preferred start time. Please arrive at least an hour ahead of your start time.
You can pick up a friends or family members bib if you have a copy of their signed waiver (download signed waiver here) as well as a picture of their id (cell phone picture is acceptable).
Switching start times/transferring your registration to someone else:
If you want to change your start time or transfer your registration to someone else, you may do so via www.eventbrite.com at no cost. See instructions here. Changes are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. Also, if all slots in a wave have been requested, we will not be able to put you in that wave.
ThrillSeeker 5K Stunt Run has a NO REFUND POLICY. That means that we are a rain/shine event and will go on no matter what (unless we deem that it will be too dangerous for participants and volunteers) and will not refund your registration fee if you are unable to participate. If the event is postponed, your registration will be honored and will transfer to the new date of the event.
What to bring:
Bring a towel, change of clothes, Photo ID, and extra cash for parking, food, merchandise, etc. Don’t forget all of your amazing energy and a great attitude!
What not to bring:
Do not bring coolers, glass containers, pets, barbeques, drugs, tents or campers. There will be no tailgating or overnight camping at the event.
Depending on the facility there may be a parking fee of up to $10 per vehicle. We highly recommend you carpool with your team. Be sure to bring extra cash for parking, food, beer and merchandise at the event.
Spectators get into the event for free! Spectator areas will vary by venue, but most events will have spectator areas near the start and finish lines.
When to arrive:
We recommend that you arrive at least 1 hour before your start time. You will need this time to park, pick up your packet (if you have not done this already), check your bags, and get to the race start. Remember that traffic will be heavy on race day and could delay you even further, so try to carpool!
Bag check is FREE at our event! Each bib comes with a detachable bag check tag that our volunteers will help attach to your bag. Bags can be claimed after the race by using your bib. Please note bag check will not accept any loose items; all items must be in a bag. (We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please do not bring valuables into the race area)
Lost and found:
Lost and found will be at our information desk. All items must be reclaimed by the owner and a driver's license will be copied for each item.
This Stunt Run is FUN for people of all fitness levels, and therefore is untimed. We will have clocks at the start and finish, which are synced, if you'd like to self-time your race.
Finding my photos:
We will post information on pictures on our website www.stuntrun.com as well as our social media pages. The photographers usually have photos processed within one week of the race. Search through those photos to find your smiling face!
How do I wear my bib:
ThrillSeeker 5K Stunt Run requires that you wear your bib centered on your stomach, upright so race officials can see your information. Use the 4 safety pins provided to pin the 4 corners of the bib to your shirt/costume.
Participants without a race bib will be removed from the course for security and safety reasons. Please remember to fill out the Emergency Medical Information on the back of the race bib.
There are 2-3 obstacles that will feature water with a height of 40 inches or more. Please skip any obstacle you're not 100% sure you can complete safely.
Insurance fee, what’s this?
The $5 insurance fee is a MANDATORY part of the registration fee. Even if you have your own insurance, our venues require that all participants purchase accident insurance in case of an injury that occurs during the race.
